Basement Designing Process

OMC Basements provides a one stop shop experience from concept through completion. We handle the process from design to selections and through the entire construction process.

When you choose OMC Basements for your project,  there will be a 4-step-process to turn your dreams into reality.

Step 1: Concept Meeting

We start with a free, no-obligation consultation. We ask all necessary questions, and then we listen carefully as you describe your objectives, budget and intended usage of your remodeling project. We then may offer suggestions and ideas - and present possibilities for you to consider. We believe that a good design results from a collaborative effort between the builder and the customer.

Step 2: Review Meeting

We will present a Plan and a detailed Scope of Work with cost of the project. The design will be reviewed to ensure we have addressed all of the items you wish to include in your project. If the Plan and Scope of Work meet your approval, it's time to sign the contract, finalize selections and place the project on our production schedule. It typically takes 1 to 3 weeks to start your project after the contract is signed and the scheduling deposit is received.

Step 3: Construction Begins

 Upon the start of construction we will have a meeting in your home with you. We will confirm the layout and address any concerns you may have. We will be available during the construction process to answer any questions you have along the way.

Step 4: Final Walk Through

Final Walk Through - Upon completion we will walk through your completed remodeling project with you to ensure that every detail is up to your standards, as well as, answer any questions you may have.
